Security & Privacy
Your conversations stay yours.
Whispr is built to minimize data retention and maximize control. We process context in real time to deliver live guidance—and we never use your calls to train public models.
Effective date: March 13, 2026
Privacy by design
We apply strict controls around storage, access, and model training. Your audio is processed in memory for live assistance and cleared immediately—no recording, no retention by default.
In-memory only
Processing happens in volatile memory
No recording
Raw audio is not stored on our servers
No retention
Buffers purged after each response
Data practices
What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the service and improve your experience.
- Account details (name, email) for authentication and support.
- Usage analytics (e.g. feature usage, errors) to improve the product.
- Operational logs required for reliability and security (e.g. access events).
We do not sell your data
Your conversation data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising. Optional retention (e.g. for workspace insights) is controlled at the workspace level and disclosed in your plan.
Audio & conversation data
Processed in memory, not stored
By default, Whispr processes audio streams in memory for live assistance. Raw audio is not stored for model training. Any optional retention settings are controlled at the workspace level and clearly disclosed.

Security we rely on
We use encryption in transit and at rest for stored service data, role-based access controls, and infrastructure hardening. Our practices align with SOC 2 Type II expectations where applicable.
